| The rescue diver course is designed to help a diver expand his/her knowledge and experience beyond the recreational level. This course will teach you how to prevent, treat and educate divers with problems associated with the water environment and diving. |

Self Rescue & diver stress
Diving First Aid
Basic Life Support (CPR)
Emergency Management
Equipment
Choking
Near Drowning
Confined/Open Water Skills include (but are not limited to):
Tired Diver
Panicked Diver
Use of the boat or shore for assistance
Distressed Diver underwater
Missing Diver
Surfacing the Unconscious Diver
Egress with an Unconscious Diver
First Aid for Pressure related accidents

PREREQUISITES:
Advanced Open Water Certification or Equivalent
Current CPR & First Aid (Emergency First Responder will be
offered at an additional charge.) |
