In the Beginning Open Water Course you are introduced to the world of S.C.U.B.A. A small taste of what diving is all about. Taught by top instructors you are given the opportunity to see what the world down below truly holds. The format of the Open Water Beginner Course consists of both pool and classroom sessions, followed by four (4) open water certification dives. Classroom and pool sessions are divided into five (5) lessons over 2½ weeks, 5 weeks or a one weekend program. In this class you will be taught the basics of buoyancy, navigation, breathing, equipment, and dive planning to name a few. In addition, you will have the opportunity to begin and complete some of your continuing education classes.
